Masala Doodh (Flavoured Milk)

Milk flavoured with nuts, cardamom and nutmeg. 

Ingredients:
Almonds/Badam - 1/2 cup
Walnuts/Akrod - 1/2 cup
Cashews/Kaju - 1/4 cup
Pistachios/Pista - 1/4 cup
Green Cardamom/Elaichi - 5 pods
Nutmeg/Jaiphal Powder - 1/8 tsp

Milk
Saffron/Kesar
Sugar

Method:
Toast the almonds, walnuts in a pan or a microwave so that the skin comes off easily.  Let them cool.  Grind almonds, cashews, walnuts, pistachios, cardamom seeds, nutmeg to a fine powder.  Store the Masala Doodh Mix in a dry air tight container.
Heat 1 cup milk in a vessel.  Add about 1/4 tsp (or less) Masala Doodh Mix, 1 tsp sugar, few saffron strands and bring it to a boil.  Nutritious Flavoured Milk is ready.  Serve Masala Doodh hot or cold.
