Ingredients:
Grated Coconut - 1 cup
Garlic - 4 big cloves
Green Chillies - 5
Tamarind Paste - 1/4 tsp
Salt
Method:
1. Heat a pan and roast the (fresh or frozen) coconut for 3 - 5 minutes at low flame. Let it cool. (Roast the coconut for few more minutes if the coconut is not fresh and smells a little. You will get rid of the smell by roasting and adding garlic.)
2. Grind roasted coconut, green chillies, tamarind, peeled garlic cloves, salt with little water.
3. Serve Lasani Chutney with dosa or idli.
Nice recipe, add garlic and tamarind would have made it even tastier..
