If you are looking for something special this Valentine's Day, these nutty chewy choco bars would be perfect.

Ingredients:
Semi sweet Chocolate Chips - 1 1/2 cups
Milk - 1/4 cup (optional)
Roasted Cashews - 2 tbsp
Golden Raisins - 1 tbsp
Dry Mango - 1 tbsp

How to make Chocolate Bark:
  • Place a parchment paper on a flat work surface or a baking tray.
  • Keep the toppings ready too.  You can use any nuts of your choice - almonds/badam, walnuts/akrot, pecans etc.  And dry fruits make the bark colorful.  Pick any of the dry fruits you like - apricots, cranberries, cherries, peaches.  Roughly chop nuts and dry fruits.
  • Using a double boiler method melt the chocolate chips.  Heat a saucepan with water and a metal bowl that fits securely over the saucepan.  Add chocolate chips and milk to the top metal bowl and allow it to melt over low, indirect heat.  Make sure that the bottom of the chocolate bowl does not touch the water.  Stir continuously until chocolate melts and turns shiny.
  • You can melt the chocolate using a microwave as well.
Homemade Chocolate Bark
  • Pour the melted chocolate on the parchment paper and spread it in the shape of a square or a rectangle, as thin or thick you like.  Top it with dry fruits and nuts.  Freeze it for about 30 minutes or until chocolate hardens.
  • For Marbled Chocolate Bark, add some melted white chocolate before adding nuts and fruits.
  • Cut out squares and enjoy homemade Crunchy Chocolate Candy anytime you like.
